Why I'm here
After 27 years of Buddhist meditation practice, a handful of years seeking within the Non-Dual realm and therapy, suffering was still present, and resistance to suffering was creating more suffering. I tried diligently to meditate away unwanted emotions; fear, helplessness, unworthiness, loneliness and fear of loss. Chronic health concerns and PTSD in the system shadowed every aspect of life. Rather than opening to these energetic orphans calling out for attention, I ran from them. Gradually, with good fortune and amazing guides, that which was rejected began to be met. It continues still.

Now there's a deep knowing that there are no mistakes: seeing that it couldn't have been any other way, compassion arises naturally.
I am grateful for the years of meditation. The seeds were sown, growing into plants with strong roots. Not least, I am incredibly grateful for the many teachers, guides and a great therapist. Their support is everything, and I wouldn't be offering what I do if it wasn't for their wisdom, direct pointing and care. Meditation looks different these days, and is accompanied by inquiry and shadow work; pleasure and enjoyment; tenderness and love ... and a big dollop of humour.
All of life as we know it begins with the simplest form of open awareness, prior to all ideas and concepts about why or what life is. When we see this to be true, true in our own direct experience, then we see the unbound nature of life.
